Aparicio Levy Technical Center

Admissions

A standard, approved high school diploma or GED is required for most job preparatory programs. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis after entrance requirements have been met.  Students must be at least 18 years of age to become a student at Aparicio-Levy Technical Center.

Testing

All applicants for job preparatory programs take an admissions test (TABE) before entering training. This test measures basic skills in Reading, Math, and English Language. Individual programs require varying levels of basic skills. If students want to submit TABE scores administered by an outside source, they must first be approved.

Aparicio-Levy reserves the right to screen outside TABE scores from any source. The TABE will be administered on-site on a regular basis, and is also available off-site. Please call (813) 740-4884 for days, times and details.
