Course Description
Twelve hour training introducing e-commerce as a marketing necessity for a small business desiring a web presence to remain competitive. Each participant will develop a website plan as a class project with the essentials examined: content, layout, customer support, payment options, online security issues, contact information, and basic web design. Marketing strategies using search engine keywords, blogs, wikis, and social networks will be explored. Emphasis will be on using cost efficient methods for web hosting and developing advertising campaigns for a small business.
