Course Description
In the Cisco Academy at ALTC, students will learn the fundamentals of computer networks and gain valuable hands-on experience with real Cisco routers, switches and Wireless Access Points. Through official Cisco Academy curriculum, students will learn how computing devices communicate and how to troubleshoot them when they don’t work. Students who complete this program will be prepared for the CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Technician) and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) exams. Employers recognize the value of Cisco certifications and Cisco certified technicians are in high demand.
Recommended prerequisites: A+ (PC Repair and Maintenance) and Cisco 1 & 2
