Course Description

Digital smart homes combine the living room entertainment system, thermostat, alarm system and much more into a centrally controlled and remotely accessible interface on a personal computer. Students in the DHTI+ program will learn to do all of this through classroom instruction and hands-on learning with actual smart devices, while preparing for the DHTI+ certification exam. CEA-CompTIA Digital Home Technology Integrator (DHTI+) is highly valued by employers as it validates the knowledge and skills necessary to install, maintain, and troubleshoot digital smart home systems.

Recommended prerequisites: Introduction to Computers or equivalent knowledge/experience.
