Course Description
Twelve week training to build the workplace skills needed for success in working with customers in today’s competitive market. Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills, combined with technical competency are essential in any working environment. Computer training includes keyboarding, data entry, Microsoft Office Suite 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher), Internet searches and E-mail. Professional resumes and portfolios are developed. Students gain interviewing skills and apply for positions online.
Course Modules (50 hours each): Session I - Customer Service Tech I Session II - Customer Care Session III - Customer Service Tech (Advanced) Session IV - Office Support Session V - Employability Skills Session VI - Employment Portfolios What is TABE?

Employment Opportunities Positions are available for customer service representatives, with the wages ranging $7.75 to $13.50 per hour, averaging $9.10 per hour plus benefits. General requirements for these positions are a high school diploma or GED, communication, computer, and keyboarding skills. Background checks and pre-employment tests are often required.
